League in the UK and probably in Europe.

Many people will know that professional football originated in Sheffield, England in 1857 with Sheffield FC.

In 2006/7, this football club was 150 years old and to celebrate, as part of our Social Responsibility Programme, ideas2develop have sponsored the Sheffield and District Junior Sunday League, whose teams compete across South Yorkshire and the North Midlands.

Nearly 650 teams participate in 55 divisions and involving 10,000 children both boys and girls between the ages of seven and sixteen years old.

ideas2develop appreciate that often the best ideas come from the most unusual places. Innovative ideas from the home, sport, industry or the academic and IT worlds are all equally welcome.
